We are a small business that focuses on the development and support of automated systems. Combining experience with a solid Quality Management System, our services and process are highly standardized, which allows us to endeavour on specially challenging projects.
At RCF Automation, we want to offer excellence to our customers. To do so, we use our Quality Management System with clear processes and standardized workflows. It allows us to quickly respond to customers queries and control all steps of the work we do.
Although the quality control practices are well-known and available to be studied, its application is usually challenging and quite often leads to extra workload and development time. That is exactly the point that RCF Automation has addressed and focused on when developing its QMS. Firstly, the QMS uses the Pull Production System (well-known on manufacturing), so the workflow focuses on where the demand is.
For example, considering a project divided into 4 stages: development, FAT, Installation, and SAT. The Installation team needs accurate drawings to do their work properly and to avoid rework during commissioning. Therefore, the engineers responsible for the FAT cannot finish their step unless the “as-built FAT” drawings have been issued.
Even though this example may sound simple and obvious, it is quite common to see projects where commissioning took longer than planned because the installation team worked on “old versions” of the project documentation.
Feel free to contact us and check out how our QMS will deliver your project on time, accurately, and cost effectively.
